Small beige purified ceramic vase, dating back to the 2nd–3rd century AD. The vase features a rim clearly distinguished from the body, slightly thickened at the bottom and inclined inward, with a pronounced internal step. The neck is slender, while the body is expanded and elongated, ending in a cylindrical tip.
The use of these objects is not yet clearly defined, but according to the classification by C. Pavolini (MEFRA, 92, 1980), the piece belongs to class D 3, type 16 a, one of the more recent variants of this type with a distinct rim. It has a height of 12 cm and a rim diameter of 6.2 cm. Its state of preservation is fair.
This webpage provides a sequence of images documenting the 3D digitization of the vase. The virtual model, created using advanced technologies, has been optimized for 3D printing, allowing for the production of a physical replica for use in tactile museum exhibits.
