Hologram

A fragment of purified orange clay with a smoothed surface. The artifact’s dating is unidentified. The artifact has a cylindrical body, with one end tapered and curved, while the other is flared and flattened. The surface was smoothed, likely to improve handling or aesthetics. Its original function remains uncertain, but the shape suggests a possible functional or structural use.

3D Model

The object has a height of 16.5 cm, comparable to a small water bottle. It has survived in a fragmentary state, with missing portions and visible fracture edges. Despite the gaps, the preserved parts allow for the identification of the original shape and manufacturing techniques used. The surface, though smoothed, shows signs of erosion and wear due to time and burial conditions. This webpage allows users to explore the artifact’s 3D digitization process, which has enabled its virtual reconstruction. The 3D model, optimized for printing, allows for the creation of a tactile replica, supporting scientific dissemination and public understanding.
