Goblet made of brown-violet clay, wheel-thrown and burnished, dating back to the 7th century BCE. The artifact features a semi-spherical basin with carinated, flared walls resting on a trumpet foot. The surface is decorated with a series of three parallel, equidistant horizontal incised lines, creating a refined ornamental effect. The goblet shape with a trumpet foot is particularly common in the morphological typology of bucchero, a characteristic ceramic class of the period. Regarding the clay composition, it can be compared to a similar goblet found in the cist tomb beneath the Heroon of Aeneas, dated to the second half of the 7th century BCE (Civiltà del Lazio Primitivo, Rome 1976, cat. 102, pl. LXXX, 15).
The object has a height of 26.5 cm, comparable to that of a standard water bottle, with a maximum diameter of 17 cm, similar to that of a medium-sized plate. It is well preserved, with its original structure intact and all incised decorations clearly legible. The surface, despite minor signs of wear, retains the glossy burnishing obtained through burnishing tools, a characteristic feature of its production.
