The small cup is made of purified pinkish ceramic, with worn varnish, dating back to the 4th–3rd century BC. It is attributed to form 2421 d 1 in Morel's classification. The artifact features a convex wall with a fingernail rim and a ring foot, typical characteristics of Campanian pottery.
It has a height of 2.3 cm and a diameter of 5 cm. Its state of preservation is fair. The slides available on this webpage illustrate the scanning and 3D modeling process of the cup. The resulting model has been further processed for 3D printing, making the artifact accessible to the public through tactile exhibits.
